Come by this Friday and enjoy the wonderful artwork of Rick Akers, a short talk from the artist himself and refreshments. The show is being held at the Tarkington Towers in downtown Indianapolis January 27th through April 25th, 2017.
Our team at Corporate Fine Art Group would like to shine the spotlight on one of our favorite artists, Rick Akers. This Ohio based seasoned artist has graced galleries and homes with his plein air style paintings since the late 1990's. His collection of impressionistic artwork consists of landscapes from all over the American country.
Akers is a BFA graduate of Commercial Design at the University of Dayton. His highly reputable character is due to his many donations of artwork for various organizations. We are thrilled to show his work later this month, details soon to follow.
Corporate Fine Art Group would like to highlight Sam Sartorius and her mixed media abstract nature paintings. Sartorius, a Texas native, visited museums and galleries throughout the world. She gained inspiration by absorbing the diverse artwork and decided to earn her BFA at the Herron School of Art, Indiana University-Purdue University.
Her creative endeavors earned her many awards, credits and scholarships. We proudly represent this Texas artist!
We got to enjoy the First Friday show featuring Tori Weyers DrawRiot at the Cole Noble Gallery.
It'll be up for the next couple of months, stop by the Artistry Apartments of Downtown Indianapolis and check it out! We really enjoyed her work!
Here is some more info of the artist:
As many of you know the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay, plans on erecting a statue directly outside of the Lucas Oil Stadium in honor of retiring football player Peyton Manning.
In the running for the commissioned statue is a local sculptor named Pat Mack. Pat is an Indianapolis based artist who also happens to be a big Colts Fan. He is an established national presence in addition to many sculptures throughout the city including the Indianapolis Children’s Museum and Vistech Research Park.
As an Indianapolis based art-consulting company that supports local artists Corporate Fine Art Group casts it’s vote for Pat Mack’s proposed sculpture. If chosen, the statue of Peyton Manning will be cast in bronze, standing 10 foot tall. We hope the decision will be made soon.

James Wille Faust: Color Meditations
We had the pleasure of attending the opening show presenting the work of James Wille Faust at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art (IMOCA) on Friday, April 1st. The exhibition entitled Color Meditations not only lives entirely up to its title, but the range of artwork presented will sweep anyone off their feet and leave them with wanting more.
The exhibition consists of Faust’s impressive array of various media over the course of a two-year production. This includes his sculpture work, paintings and video.
Color Meditations is a wonderful opportunity to step into another realm full of visual stimuli and curious installations. As an artist, Faust does not attach himself with a specific title or medium. By maintaining this practice, he is able to detach himself from limitations a direct identity may have.
Faust’s intense body of work stands strongly and successfully as a solo show. I highly recommend a visit to see his extensive body of work. Do not miss this opportunity, the show will be living it’s final day on May 28th, 2016 at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art.
We now have an open studio!
Our framing facilities and artwork studio are now open to the public. We welcome Designers, Architects & Art buyers to come by and see what we have to offer!
